BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICES

Our mission is to provide quality mental health and substance abuse disorder services to offenders committed to the Department of Corrections and to utilize evidence-based practices to maximize opportunities for rehabilitation and recovery.

We provide:

• Group and individual therapy;
• Intake screenings;
• Assessments and evaluations;
• Crisis management and evaluation;
• Consultation with correctional staff;
• Treatment plan development;
• Counseling for adult offenders;
• Staff training and education; and
• Discharge planning.

Behavioral Health Services contracts with licensed psychiatrists to provide psychiatric consultations, diagnosis and treatment plan services.
